As virtual experience becomes part of everyday life, we’ll want to document, describe, and share that experience for the same reasons we tell stories, sing songs, and show pictures.

I have been a fan of screencasting since first learning about it on Jon Udell’s weblog. Jon wrote a good intro to screencasting on its one year anniversary for the O’Reilly Network. As someone who informally uses screencasts to share thoughts and ideas the natural first pass offering of BB Flashback express works well for me. Watching the Blogbridge screencast demo of a new feature this morning I realised how few organisations are utilising screencasts in their storytelling. Heres hoping more start discovering and harnessing its power.
