‘The elephant in the room nobody wants to talk about’ is an expression I hear alot within many large established organisations. After reading this story in CMO it has taken on a whole new meaning. šŸ™‚ Given the number of internal and external conversations a CMO needs to participate in their average tenure will only increase when its advertising, PR and marketing services support start taking on the role of facilitator instead of the traditional role of agent. The tools are now available to do so. Their people now need to learn to use them to talk ‘with’ instead of ‘to or at’ people.
