[...] Last up, it seems Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is talking about driving to the South Pole in a hydrogen-powered Hummer, co-piloted by Buzz Aldrin (well spotted, Tony). Part of me thinks it sounds like a fun thing to do (after all, Vivian Fuchs and Edmund Hillary crossed Antarctica using tractors in 1957, and as much as I abhor oversized American SUVs, fuel cells are undeniably exciting technology). Part of me, however, wonders if it smacks a little of this. [...]

[...] I am finally getting the opportunity to move into my new home. Apologies if you happened to call by earlier only to find the lights on but nobody home. From the outset I have wanted dino inc to be made freely available in a multiple of audio and e-book formats and as many languages as possible. As anyone who has been down this road before will have discovered it requires significantly more input than what might at first appear. Thanks to friends and friends of friends multi-format production of the English version of dino inc is nearing completion. [...]

Hi Donncha. Thanks for dropping by. Domain mapping, ads opt out and greater multimedia functionality are extras I am quiet happy to pay for and currently need. Given you are working on providing these at some future date rest assured I will continue to recommend WordPress.com. Unfortunately the timing for me is such that I cannot wait any longer given current projects I want to start rolling out. Looking forward to meeting up one day in the not too distant future.

[...] Jane Martinson’s interview with Les Hinton is rather insightful on a number of levels. When Rupert Murdoch referred to ‘the coming golden age of media’ back in April 2005 he was fully mindful of the fact that it was already here. The words ‘the time to run is when everyone else is standing’ come to mind. It is fair to say that Rupert and Les have a pretty good head start on many of their peers. Whether they successfully maintain that lead only time will tell. Interesting times indeed. [...]

Hi Shel, thanks for dropping by. My personal interpretation was that both events had less to do with showing your humanity and more to do with impressing Mena in the first instance and Mike in the second. Something you needed to be called on. We are both very privileged to be living at such a special time. While Robert chose to speak with people you chose to speak at people. That to me has less to do with humanity and more to do with egology. With great privilege comes great responsibility Shel. Something I personally felt you needed to be reminded.

Sorry you feel that way. Bloggers are encouraged to show their humanity and I just showed some of mine. I hope at some point in the future you decide it's okay to recommend me again.
